Smaller Companies Fund from Franklin Templeton

CHENNAI: Franklin Templeton Investments (India) is launching a new equity fund called the Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund (FISCF). It is a five-year closed-end fund that will invest in mid and small cap stocks. The initial issue period at Rs. 10 will be from November 16 to December 14 and the fund will provide for liquidity every six months, says a release.
