KVB raises NRE term deposit rates

CHENNAI: Karur Vysya Bank has increased the interest rates on NRE term deposits. For one year and above but less than two years, the interest rate has been raised to 5.55 per cent from 5.30 per cent; for two years and above but less than three years to 5.65 per cent from 5.40 per cent; and for three years and above to 5.65 per cent from 5.40 per cent. The bank has also announced the interest payable on NRE Savings Bank account rate as 3.50 per cent.
