Bangalore: Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates will inaugurate the Digital Lifestyle 2005 to be organised here by MAIT, the apex body representing the hardware, training and research and development service sectors of the information technology industry in India. The three-day event will showcase the latest technologies and products by various Indian and multinational companies. The event seeks to bring consumers face to face with the latest in digital technology, including video, photography, music, internet, wireless technologies, games and home entertainment. It will be a "buying show" in which participating companies will carry out special promotion activities to enable consumers make purchases at discounted rates, a statement from MAIT said here on Friday.
