Forming a pyramid amidst fun
K. Satyamurty
BANGALORE:
Other children who had some fun were those at Christel House, which celebrated fifth annual sports meet.
There was lots of fun, excitement and team spirit. Christel House is a not-for-profit organisation that provides children in disadvantaged communities access to free, quality education and nutrition.
Unlike at other sports meets, Christel House made sure that everyone right from the parents to the canteen staff got to participate in events such as "Bombing The City", "100 metres Flat Race" and "Lemon and spoon".
The aim was to make parents a part of their children's overall development.
The seventh standard boys formed the Christel House "Human Pyramid" that earned them loud cheers.
