BMTC embarks on image makeover

Bangalore: Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) wants to ensure that its buses halt at bus stops and that they don't skip stops.

According to BMTC, there will be an intensive drive between December 1 and 7 to see that bus crew become more passenger-friendly.

Seats for women

The crew will be made to stick to rules regarding seats reserved for women, senior citizens and the disabled and display destination boards properly.

Squads

BMTC squads will be on the move to see that the bus crew behave themselves and detect any fake bus passes being used.
