HC directive to Government on petition on CRZ

Hyderabad: A Division Bench of the A.P. High Court imposed costs of Rs. 2,000 upon the Government for not being able to file counter-affidavit in time in a writ petition wherein serious allegations of violation of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) notification at Visakhapatnam were made. The bench comprising Chief Justice G. S. Singhvi and Justice R.Subhash Reddy was dealing with a writ petition filed by Samatha and Fishermen Youth Welfare Association.
