Brain Bee Quiz on Dec. 24

Contest will be organised at NIMS

HYDERABAD: Brain Bee Quiz, a neuroscience contest for first year Intermediate or students of Class 11 will be conducted on December 24 at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS).

The quiz is being conducted jointly by the NIMS, Kalajyothi, a voluntary agency working on health sciences and promoted by the Natco Trust, DANA Alliance, Society for Neuroscience and International Brain Research Organisation.

Winning students and their biology teacher will attend the finals of the International Brain Bee scheduled between March 17 and 19, 2006, at the University of Maryland, US, as part of the International Brain Awareness Week. They will be hosted for a week by the Endeavor Foundation for Excellence. Nomination forms filled by the school principals can be sent to the Project Coordinator, Kalajyothi, Road No. 2, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad - 500 033.
