Radio awards to be presented

HYDERABAD: To encourage radio jockeys and clean entertainment on the burgeoning radio channels, Funny Entertainers and Radio Lover's Club will present the first Radio Awards, on December 16 at the City Central Library.

Chokkapu Venkataramana, chairman, Funny Entertainers and Nag Gottap, secretary, Radio Lovers Club said 13 people, have been selected for awards.

The awardees include Ram Prasad (CMR Exclusive Animuthyalu), Janardhan (Radio Biryani), Vinod Babu (Star Media), Balakrishna (Hello FM), Anuj (Radio Biryani), Supriya (Wave 9), Vamshi (Wave 9), Bhaviri Ravi (Mimicry), Apurva, Karan Bajaj and Abhimanyu (Good Evening Hyderabad) and Kiran (Wave 9).
