Lepakshi exhibition

Lepakshi export-oriented showroom is holding a special exhibition-cum-sale for ten days from December 15 to December 24 at RTC crossroads in Musheerabad. The exhibition will be open even on Sundays.

Kashmiri shawls, bandhini sarees, vegetable chemical and batie dress material made by Kutch handicraft artisans, Orissa stone carvings and Christmas decorative items will be on display.

Open varsity forms

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University Entrance Test-2006 applications will be available in all eSeva centres in the State till January 6 for the benefit of those appearing for the test. The entrance test is scheduled for April 9, 2006. The cost of application form is Rs. 170.

Aid to madarasas

Madarasas, which are imparting modern education to children in the age group of 6 to 14 years, are asked to apply for financial support from the Government. They should apply on or before December 23 in the prescribed proforma available in the office of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Manoranjitam complex, Exhibition Grounds.

As per the guidelines, the Madarsas should be teaching subjects like Maths, English, science and social to become eligible.

Launch of school

Jain Group of Institutions is launching a school called `The Jain International School (TJIS)' under the aegis of Kanchandevi Padmavathi Madanraj Sony Trust. The school will be located 30 km from Secunderabad on the Medchal Highway.
