Largest-ever show on the ailment in the country

HYDERABAD:
The largest-ever show in the country on diabetes will get under way at Satya Sai Nigamagamam in Srinagar colony from Thursday.
The four-day expo, where entry is free, is intended to create awareness about diabetes and associated complications.
"The objective is to educate and empower people so that they can manage diabetes better," V. Mohan, chairman of the MV Diabetes Centre told newsmen here on Wednesday.
All diagnostic facilities would be offered at concessional rates and the diagnostic equipment would also be sold at discounted rates.
Dr. Mohan said the expo would have 25 stalls highlighting various aspects of diabetes-related issues, video and audio programmes, yoga demonstrations, aerobics and quiz programmes. There would also be a diet museum to educate people about diabetic diets and recipes.
