Ginepri crashes out

DELRAY BEACH (U.S.): Robby Ginepri lost 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 to Lee Hyung-taik on Tuesday in the first round of the International championships tennis.

The second-seeded Ginepri is struggling to keep the momentum he found in the second half of last season, when he went 28-5 and reached the U.S. Open semifinals.

Hingis advances

At Tokyo, four-time champion Martina Hingis made a perfect return to the Pan Pacific Open tennis tournament on Wednesday, overwhelming Cho Yoon-Jeong of South Korea 6-0, 6-0 in just 35 minutes.
