CHENNAI: Admission certificates for private candidates taking the higher secondary examination next month will be issued between February 13 and 17.

An official press release said the certificates would be issued at 66 centres across the State. In Chennai, they would be issued at Madharasa-I-Azam HSS on Anna Salai. Candidates should check the details and, in the event of error, contact the Additional Secretary (Higher Secondary) at the directorate either in person or by post. This applies to those who do not get certificates also. "All direct private candidates (HP category) should necessarily appear for aural/oral tests for Part I and Part-II languages," it said. They should contact the the examination centre to get the dates.

The certificate will not be sent by post, and candidates will not be allowed to appear without it. Candidates should submit a self-addressed envelope, with a Rs.30 stamp, at the examination centre on day one of the examination.
