NEW DELHI: The issue of unauthorised constructions by politicians is causing a serious divide between councillors of the ruling Congress and opposition Bharatiya Janata Party in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Alleging that Congress leaders in the civic body were trying to shield their party members including Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Delhi Congress president Ram Babu Sharma and some Delhi Ministers, BJP councillor Vijender Gupta said since he "exposed" Ms. Dikshit and her MP son Sandeep Dikshit regarding unauthorised constructions in their properties, he had been asking the Congress to reveal all details in the MCD House, but to no avail.
