HIV positive child dead

Thiruvananthapuram: An 18-month-old child who contracted HIV infection, allegedly through a blood transfusion, died on Friday. Her parents are HIV negative. The child contracted the virus allegedly at the Medical College Hospital here, an issue that sparked a controversy.
