BharatMatrimony's retail initiative

CHENNAI:
BharatMatrimony.com has signed an agreement with the Department of Posts for a retail initiative.
Under the agreement, the website will to provide registration and membership services through head post offices across the country. Head post offices will now sell membership scratch cards and registration forms of BharatMatrimony.
Vatsala Raghu, Principal Chief Postmaster General, Tamil Nadu Circle, launched the cards earlier this week. The cards will be sold in 92 head post offices in 17 circles in the State. J. Murugavel, Chief Executive Officer of the portal, said a free member of the portal could now become a paid member by purchasing the scratch cards from the nearest head post office and upgrade his or her membership online.
A non-member can fill in a registration form available at any of the head post offices in the State to get a login ID and use the services of the portal. The membership scratch cards are available in various denominations.
