Sri Krishna Sweets introduces lunch buffet

CHENNAI: Sri Krishna Sweets has introduced a lunch buffet at Purasawalkam and Ashok Nagar between noon and 3 p.m.

The 120-year-old structure on Rajah Annamalai Road at Purasawalkam is adorned with teakwood doors, white enamel dome lights, black switches on wooden switchboards and the old globular ceiling fans.

For Rs.99, the spread of 25 varieties includes continental, north and south Indian foods. The menu has a different combination each day.

M. Murali, proprietor of Sri Krishna Sweets, says, "We want to provide quality and nutritious vegetarian food to people."

A fresh fruit juice, followed by a vegetable soup, starters, fruit and vegetable salads, the main dish with tandoori bread and a dessert are on the menu.
