4 injured in clash

Both objected to use of loudspeakers by other, which sparked off violence

PONDICHERRY: Four persons were injured in a clash between the DMK and the AIADMK supporters at different places in Nellithope constituency during campaigning on Wednesday evening.

The injured were admitted to the General Hospital and their condition is stated to be stable. According to police the incident happened when supporters of both the candidates were campaigning at Karamanikuppam at the same time.
