Three teams called on travel agents in the city on Wednesday in a bid to promote the profile of the airlines.

Led by V.S. Subramanian of France Air, the team members introduced themselves to the staff of a travel agency on Montieth Road, Egmore.

They highlighted the reason for their visit, asked the staff to take part in a short game and gave away gifts.

Suraj Nair of Delta Airlines, Bijoy of KLM, Chitra of Korean Air, and Berry from Alitalia Airlines formed the sales team.

Air France is set to announce the launch of flights to Paris from Chennai starting October 31.
