10-year RI for robbery at Kalkaji

NEW DELHI: A city court has sentenced a 30-year-old man to ten-year of rigorous imprisonment (RI) for committing broad daylight robbery at Kalkaji in South Delhi eight years ago.

After hearing the arguments of both the prosecution and the defence on Tuesday, Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Kumar, held Rohtas guilty of robbing Rs.4200 from the complainant, A K Mishra, 42, a doctor. The court further slapped a fine of Rs.8000 on Rohtas. .- UNI
