Boys on top in cultural competitions

SHIMOGA: Boys dominated the first day of the two-day Kala Pratibhotsava which began on Wednesday at the Kuvempu Rang Mandir here under the auspices of the Department of Kannada and Culture.

As many as 20 boys won prizes in various competitions held under two categories, Bala Pratibhe for those in the 8 to 13 age group and Kishore Pratbibhe for those in the 13 to 18 age group.

These winners represent Shimoga district in the divisional level Kala Pratibhotsava.
