COIMBATORE: The University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany has tied-up with the Fertility Center at the Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH) for training its medical students in obstetrics and gynaecology. The university has sent three students, including one of Indian origin, to undergo a one-month clinical training under C.V. Kannaki Uthraraj, Director, Fertility Center, a release from the KMCH said. Hospital chairman Nalla G. Palanisamy said the curriculum included vast reading of current information and direct exposure to real time medicine and interaction with patient under different clinical situations.
