Scholarship test for GATE-2007 aspirants

It will be conducted in the engineering disciplines - CSE, ESE, EE, ME-IT and Pharmacy

    CHENNAI: Gateforum, a private training institute based in Bangalore, is organising an "All-India Free Mock Test" for aspirants of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 25 cities across the country, including Chennai, on September 3.

    Engineering disciplines

    A press release issued by the institute said the test would be conducted in the engineering disciplines - CSE, ESE, EE, ME- IT and Pharmacy - and the all-India top rankers in each stream would be given 100 per cent scholarship for the institute's "Gateforum Test series".

    Total scholarships

    In addition, top rankers in each city will be given scholarships up to 75 per cent for the test series.

    A total of 450 scholarships are available across the country.

    Test advantages

    Highlighting the advantages of taking the test, the institute pointed that GATE aspirants would be able to evaluate their performance by comparing themselves with students across the country.

    The all-India rankings and the percentile scores would be available on the website www.gateforum.com. Students will also be able to evaluate their performance in each section of the test through section wise comparative analysis. GATE-2007 is scheduled for February 11, 2007.

    In Chennai, the mock test would be conducted at Stella Maris College on Cathedral Road at 1.30 p.m. on September 3.
