KSEB union unhappy over `minimum' pay hike

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The AITUC-affiliated Kerala Electricity Workers' Federation has expressed its unhappiness about `minimum' pay hike for the employees of the Kerala State Electricity Board announced by Electricity Minister A.K. Balan on Tuesday. In a statement here on Wednesday, the union general secretary M. Sukumara Pillai said the Minister had discussed the topic with the trade union leaders on August 23. He had then proposed a `minimum' pay hike of Rs. 650 a month.
