Cusat, DRDO sign MoU on research projects

KOCHI : Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) and Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to initiate advanced research projects in various areas. Chief Controller R&D (NS&ACE) of DRDO A. Sivathanu Pillai and Vice-Chancellor of Cusat P.K. Abdul Azis signed the memorandum on behalf of both the institutions.

According to the agreement, laboratories and technology centre would be set up at Cusat in areas, including nanotechnology, hydrodynamics, sensors, structures, shock, vibration and acoustics. The MoU would also help in executing engineering/technology related projects.
