Congress: KCR is desperate

HYDERABAD: The Congress on Monday said the accusations hurled by TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao were an `act of desperation.'

Reacting sharply to Mr. Rao's allegation that political adviser K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao was distributing money to women voters in Karimnagar to win the elections, Government Whip D. Sridhar Babu, and T. Jeevan Reddy, MLA, said such remarks exposed Mr. Rao's fear of losing the election.

They were a press conference here on Monday.
