Letters to the Editor
President Hu Jintao opened his India tour on a positive note and continued in the same vein, welcoming India's rise as a major regional power and conveying to the world that the two nations were true friends and partners. His emphasis on the need for India and China to advance multipolarity is significant. Who, if not the two Asian giants, can help to build a multipolar world? All they need to do is to cooperate to dominate. The sooner the ice covering the bilateral issues melts, the better. As Rohinton Mistry said: "the secret to survival is to embrace change and to adapt."
Himanshu Verma,
* * * Mr. Hu's visit has raised the hopes of finding long-lasting solutions to bilateral issues. It is our turn to reciprocate China's trust and solve the border issue amicably.
Jose Charles,
