CPI (M-L) plans protest march
Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI:
The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Red Flag said it would conduct a march to Parliament on Monday to protest the "anti-people, anti-national" policies of the Manmohan Singh Government.
General secretary of the party M.S. Jaya Kumarsaid that in the party's view, be it the case of foreign, defence or nuclear policy, the United Progressive Alliance Government was playing "to the tune of Washington and it has reached the extent that the U.S. Congress is deciding the fate of our sovereign powers over the nuclear establishments." The country faced threats from communal fascism.
