Basketball tournament
The 29th Irulappan Servai Memorial Trophy State-level basketball tournament, organised by Young Stars Basketball Club will get under way at Batlagundu on Saturday.
Thirty teams from all over the State will be participating in the tournament.
Loyola triumphs
Loyola College (Chennai) scored a solitary goal win over St. Joseph's College (Tiruchi) to emerge champion of the 16th State-level inter-collegiate football tournament for the PSG Trophy at Coimbatore on Thursday.
Pradeep scored the winner.
