National judo from today
VIJAYAWADA: Over 600 judokas representing 30 States and seven institutional teams will be seen in action in the four-day REACH senior National judo championship for men and women, which begins at the DRRMC indoor stadium here on Friday.
The events in the men section are below 100kg, 90kg, 81 kg, 73 kg, 66g, 60kg, 56kg and open weight category and below 78kg, 71kg, 63kg, 57kg, 52kg, 48kg, 44kg and open weight category in the distaff section. Judo Federation of India (JFI) is going in for a mandatory dope test and a team of doctors from the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Bangalore is arriving on Friday to conduct tests on all the winners. — Sports Reporter
