KCC too good for NMPT

MANGALORE: Karavali Cricket Clinic (Mangalore) scored a convincing six wicket win over New Mangalore Port Trust (Panambur) in the KSCA Mangalore Zone first division (Pool B) fixture played at NIT-K `A' ground, Srinivasnagar near here on Thursday.

The scores:

Pool A: NMPT 165 in 38.4 overs (Yashwanth 43, Irfan 3 for 34) lost to KCC 168 for 6 in 37 overs (Narayan Kamath 53).

II Div. (Pool A): Aloysian Recreation Club `B' (Mangalore) 262 for 6 in 45 overs (Ashweer 53, Sanoop 45, Navin 45) bt Canara Youth Council (Mangalore) 133 in 32.3 overs (Rahul 4 for 21, Adarsh 3 for 30).

Pool C: NIT-K `B' (Srinivasnagar) 262 in 42.1 overs (Pramod 53, Manikantan 52, Shithul 4 for 63) bt Shree Devi College (Mangalore) 135 in 26.5 overs (Sukesh 3 for 30)
