Zahira's kin held

AHMEDABAD: Heena Vasava, wife of Zahira Sheikh's brother, Nafitullah, was arrested here on Sunday for the alleged violation of the Prohibition Act.

Heena, along with her son, resides in the building that housed the Best Bakery two years ago. She told the police that she was forced to sell liquor for monetary reasons.

Alleging that her in-laws were not supporting her, Heena said since her husband's sudden death a year ago, she had been forced to do menial jobs to support her child.

Heena was caught with about a dozen bottles of beer and whiskey, which she claimed were for sale.
