Award for space scientist

PATHANAMTHITTA: George Joseph, Director of the Dehradun-based Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific, has been selected for this year's Melpadom Attumalil Georgekutty Merit Award, instituted by the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar. At a press conference at the Church headquarters in Thiruvalla on Tuesday, Vicar-General Abraham Samuel and Church secretary K.M. Mammen said the award would be presented in Thiruvalla on January 26. — Staff Reporter
