Justice Sethi dead

Jammu: Retired Supreme Court Judge and former chairman of the State Accountability Commission R.P. Sethi died of cardiac arrest here on Wednesday night. He was 69 and is survived by his wife Raj Dulari, two advocate-sons Sunil Sethi and Anil Sethi.

Both Houses of the Jammu and Kashmir legislature on Thursday mourned Justice Sethi. Chairman of the Legislative Council Abdul Rashid Dar said Justice Sethi's services in various capacities were remarkable and laudable.

In the Assembly, Speaker Tara Chand paid rich tributes to Justice Sethi.

The House observed a two-minute silence. Thousands attended the funeral.
