SREI to form alliance with EBRD

CHENNAI: SREI Infrastructure Finance Company will shortly enter into a strategic partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which assists countries in transition to the market economy system. While the equity stake will be formalised at the EBRD board meeting later this month, the multilateral funding agency has agreed to invest in principle about 15 per cent in the $5 million equity of SREI's Russian venture.
