US varsity team visits GITAM college

VISAKHAPATNAM: A team of officials from Jackson State University of Mississippi in the US on Thursday visited GITAM College of Sciences and had an interactive session with officials of the colleges.

Both institutions were exploring the possibility of collaborative programmes, exchange of students, research programmes and other academic activities, said principal of the college N. Lakshmana Das in a press release.

The United States university team was impressed by the facilities and research work of the college, he claimed.

President of GITAM M.V.V.S. Murthi felicitated the Jackson State University officials.
