The college has already communicated to other institutions in the region requesting them to send students who fulfil the norm of 60 per cent marks in X and XII Standards imposed by the software company, the College Secretary M. Sundararajulu told presspersons on Thursday. The company will select candidates and offer them training at its own cost along with an attractive stipend component for a year before absorbing them in regular jobs with lucrative salaries. Quoting company executives, Mr. Sundararajulu said there were about 4,500 vacancies.
Boon to students
Equal importance accorded by the company for engineering and arts colleges with respect to appointments was a boon to arts college students. The job fair will be held between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on both days, he said, urging colleges to send their students in large numbers.
