Fatally knocked down

Tiruchi: A 45-year old woman was fatally knocked down by a car at Subburayapatti near Valanadu in the district on Wednesday. Lakshmi was walking on the roadside when the car hit her causing head injury . She died on the way to the hospital.

Man murders wife,

commits suicide

A 30-year old man allegedly murdered his wife suspecting her fidelity and reportedly committed suicide in his house at Ottampatti village in Uppiliapuram police station limits in the district on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as Chinnaponnu (26) and her husband Nallendran.

Mettur level
