NEW DELHI: The Supreme Council of Delhi University's St. Stephen's College met here on Thursday to take a decision on the fate of Principal Anil Wilson who took over as Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla recently.

Dr. Wilson has not resigned from his post at St. Stephen's and is on leave at present, while Jacob Cherian is officiating as Principal of the college.

Though Council members remained tight-lipped on what transpired at Thursday's meeting and said they would issue a press note after a couple of days. Soon after he took over his new role, Dr. Wilson had expressed a desire to come back to St. Stephen's after completing his stint in Himachal Pradesh.
