French team meets Maran

EXPLORATORY VISIT: Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology Dayanidhi Maran greeting French Minister-Delegate for Industry, Francois Loos, in Chennai on Friday. — Shaju John

CHENNAI: French Minister Delegate for Industry Francois Loos and members of the business delegation accompanying him held discussions with Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dayanidhi Maran here on Friday. The meeting, in which senior officials of the Indian Ministry and Tamil Nadu Government also participated, was described by official sources as an information sharing session. The French delegation was keen on getting to know the investment opportunities available in south India, particularly Chennai.

It was an exploratory visit by the French team for investment in Tamil Nadu.
