  • Discussion session on February 4

CHENNAI: Aims Education is organising a model exam for candidates preparing for the All India Engineering Entrance Exam 2007 on Sunday.

Aspiring engineers may take up the model exam, to be held in nine centres, that would replicate the AIEEE in all aspects from the format of the question paper to the content of questions. A discussion session will be held on February 4 at 9.30 a.m. at Vani Mahal.

The exam would give the students a hands-on experience, especially in the absence of Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Exams this year, said Aims Education director Gita Prabhu.

Last year, about 4,90,000 candidates took up the AIEEE in 912 centres across 87 cities. About 11,000 admissions were provided through the exam. Registration is free. For details, contact 2436 4954 or 2435 9822.
