Cloudy skies, rain likely

CHENNAI : Parts of the city, primarily in the north, were shrouded by dark clouds on Sunday noon.

The minimum temperature was 23 degrees Celsius on Sunday and similar weather was forecast to continue on Monday. A meteorological department official said the sky would be partly cloudy on Monday. Light showers may occur in some areas. The maximum temperature is expected to be 31 degrees Celsius and minimum 22.5 degrees Celsius.
