GUWAHATI: Maharashtra and Delhi grabbed the last two semifinal berths in the women's hockey competition of the National Games here on Tuesday. Earlier, Haryana from Pool `A' and Jharkhand from Pool `B' won all their three league matches to emerge pool champions. In the semifinals, to be played on Thursday, Haryana will take on Delhi, while Jharkhand will clash with Maharashtra.
The results: Pool `A': Maharashtra bt Madhya Pradesh 2-0; Haryana bt Orissa 7-2. Pool `B': Jharkhand bt Assam 9-0; Delhi bt UP 4-0. — Special Correspondent
