Ammunition unit smashed

NEW DELHI: An illegal ammunition-manufacturing unit has been unearthed in neighbouring Ghaziabad by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police. The police have arrested a middle-aged man and claim to have recovered 175 live rounds of .315 bore, raw material and some equipment from the unit.

Police said a special team was recently tipped off about the unit allegedly being run by Irshad Ali at Loni.
