Promising shooter dies

New Delhi: Promising young pistol shooter Amol Chauhan was one among the 15 Indians onboard the fateful Kenya-bound flight, that crashed with 114 people in a dense forest in Cameroon yesterday.

Amol was son of Sharad Chauhan, Managing Director of Parle Products, and was a regular part of the National Championships.

Amol had won two team silver medals in the National Games in Guwahati early this year, which was his last competitive tournament.
