MYSORE: The increase in entry tax for tourist vehicles will be a topic of discussion in the next month's "Look South" conference to be held in Hyderabad. The conference is being held under the aegis of Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Department of Tourism, Government of Andhra Pradesh, on June 18 and 19 to position Southern Region of India as "one Seamless Tourist Hub". I.M. Vittalmurthy, who was responding to a query on the abnormally high vehicle entry tax for tourist vehicle, said stakeholders in the tourism sector would take up the issue and call for its abolition.
