Programme on occupational health begins

CHENNAI: A three-day programme on occupational health and safety management began here on Wednesday.

K.A. Mohamed Aziz, Chief Inspector of Factories of the State Government, who presided over the inauguration of the programme organised by the National Safety Council, said zero accident could be achieved in each industrial unit by adopting good procedures.

M.M. Kulkarni, Director of the Council at the headquarters and V.R. Srinivasan, secretary of the State chapter of the Council, participated in the inauguration.
