Constables recruitment to begin on May 28

CHENNAI:
The selection process for the recruitment of grade II police constables (3,164 men and 1,379 women) in respect of Chennai city will be held at Rajarathinam Stadium in Egmore from May 28 to June 20.
According to a press release, about 1,500 candidates will be screened every day.
Call letters have been sent by post to candidates who have already applied for the post. Candidates must report at the stadium at 5 a.m. on the respective dates of screening process.
Candidates should come prepared to run 1,500 metres, rope climbing, 400 m/100m running, high jump and long jump.
Candidates may wear sports shoes during the events in view of the summer heat, the release added.
