Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: A group of professionals with a finance and marketing background have launched www.honeybeeindia.com , a portal to help loan-seekers choose the right option.

Besides providing guidance to customers on home loans, personal loans and loans against property, the website provides a host of offline services to facilitate easier and quicker access to the loan sought. The servicesare offered free. “Our aim is to help the customer make an informed decision.

Many who obtain loans often end up choosing a plan with a high rate of interest because they are not aware of the choices available,” managing director of the web portal S. Nagarajan said.

Tele-counsellors will be available between 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. to guide customers.
