Four officials to check capitation fee

Chennai: The Higher Education Department has notified four officials as authorities to check the collection of capitation fees by private educational institutions.

The Additional Director (Polytechnics) , Additional Director (Examinations), Assistant Director (Planning) and Liaison Officer, all from the Office of the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, have been authorised under the Tamil Nadu Educational Institutions (Prohibition of Collection of Capitation Fee) Act, for the purpose, a G.O. said. — Special Correspondent
