Parminder shines

NEW DELHI: Parminder Singh (63) and Navneet Srivastava (39) steered United Cricket Academy to an eight-wicket win over Surinder Khanna Cricket Academy in a league match of the Shalimar Cup under-19 cricket tournament at the Ashok Vihar ground here.

The scores: Surinder Khanna CA 104 in 28.1 overs (Varun Anand 37, Jasmeet Singh four for 11, Prabhat Roshan three for 22, Nikhilesh Singh three for 15) lost to United CA 105 for two in 16.5 overs (Parminder Singh 63, Navneet Srivastava 39).
